No shit...I had to "learn" how to do common core math few years ago to help my oldest with Math. I literally have an IT degree and have taken all the upper level Calculus' and all.....yeah half way through I said fuck it and taught her the real way (way we were taught). Now she argues with the teacher that she is right and they are just mad that she is smarter than they are (she is at math for sure). :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Its literally a shit show at my house as my wife gets mad and we BOTH respond she too is just jealous that she also sucks at math! Luckily my kids BOTH took after me and are in Odyssey of the Mind/Gifted (that's what they call the advance/honors programs here for Elementary and Middle school) classes.

We had many arguments over stupid common core in my house. Now that my oldest are in middle school taking algebra the math help is all mine.
