I need an HBAR update.

It was painful watching my account go from a few hundred thousand to a few ten thousand.

Lesson learned - always take profits.

It is still one of the few real cryptos with real world utility.

The mistake I made was not realizing it is Enterprise crypto or for big corporations - they take longer to implement adapt develop.

They chose not to market like other cryptos and IMO was a big mistake.

Crypto traders love the "hot story" and marketing that is what drives the price for now in the crypto space.

I made a mistake not realizing that for now marketing drives price more than utility.

I was new to the space like many - live and learn - though very painful lesson - has made me better though and won't make the same mistake in the PMs

Eventually utility will win becasue that is what is real and useable.

HBAR is engaged with many large corporations look at their governing council - still has the best combo of security/speed/and constant use price of any coin out there.

I think HBAR now at .10 will go back to .03-.05 in this crypto down cycle.

The other crypto that meet utility grade IMO are as follows:

XRP - think it will fall back to the .60-.80 range
LINK - think that will fall back to $5.00 range
QNT - think that will fall back to $25-30 range

There are others though I feel these are a solid core.

When they reach my target I will accumulate and hold though sell at predetermined levels then leave a core position.

I'm going to have to go with Anthropic here after watching Terminator...

Background on the Dispute

  • Anthropic's Position: Anthropic, founded with a focus on AI safety, has long maintained usage policies that prohibit certain applications of its technology. Specifically, the company refuses to allow Claude to be used for:
    • Mass domestic surveillance of U.S. citizens (which the DoD insists is already illegal but won't explicitly rule out in contracts).
    • Developing or operating fully autonomous weapons systems that can select and engage targets without human oversight (though partially autonomous systems are permitted).
  • CEO Dario Amodei has stated that these "red lines" are necessary because current AI technology isn't reliable enough for such high-risk uses and could undermine democratic values. Anthropic has offered to collaborate on R&D to improve reliability but claims the DoD has declined.
  • Department of War's Demands: Led by Secretary Pete Hegseth, the DoD demands "unfettered access" to Claude for "all lawful uses" without any ideological or ethical constraints. Officials argue this is essential for national security and military dominance, criticizing Anthropic's safeguards as "woke" interference that could jeopardize operations. The DoD has emphasized that it has no plans for illegal surveillance or unreliable autonomous weapons but insists on flexibility.
