Governor Ron DeSantis just signed Executive Order 25-244, designating the Muslim Brotherhood and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as foreign terrorist organizations in Florida:
"Florida agencies are hereby directed to undertake all lawful measures to prevent unlawful activities by these organizations, including denying privileges or resources to anyone providing material support."
Key findings from the order:
Muslim Brotherhood was founded in Egypt in 1928 with the goal of establishing a "world-wide Islamic caliphate" through violence, assassinations, and terror attacks
Members of the Muslim Brotherhood created Hamas in 1987
The Palestine Committee, affiliated with Muslim Brotherhood, founded CAIR in 1994 as "an official U.S. cover representing the Islamic community" to conceal ties to extremist groups
CAIR was designated an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism-financing case in American history, with courts finding "ample evidence" of CAIR's association with terrorist organizations
Individuals associated with CAIR have been convicted of providing material support to designated terrorist organizations
The order directs Florida law enforcement to take all lawful measures to prevent unlawful activities and bars anyone who provided material support from receiving state contracts, employment, or benefits.
This follows Trump's Executive Order 14362 on November 24, 2025 initiating the federal process to designate Muslim Brotherhood chapters as foreign terrorist organizations.

GOOGLE'S AI GLASSES ARE COMING IN 2026 - AND THIS TIME, THEY SWEAR IT’S NOT GOOGLE GLASS 2.0
Remember Google Glass? The futuristic face accessory that made you look like a cyborg barista and died somewhere between "too early" and "too weird"? Well, Google wants you to forget all that. Because in 2026, they're trying again, this time with AI, partnerships, and way cooler frames.
The company just announced it’ll launch its first AI-powered glasses next year, joining the “please put this computer on your face” race alongside Meta, Snap, and every other tech giant trying to turn your sunglasses into a chatbot.
There’ll be two versions:
1. Audio-only glasses with Google’s Gemini assistant whispering sweet data into your ears.
2. Display glasses that show you stuff like directions, live translations, and, presumably, passive-aggressive calendar alerts.
This time around, Google says it’s got better AI, actual partners who understand fashion, and an operating system (Android XR) that won’t crash when you try to read a map while walking into traffic.
Meta’s Ray-Ban glasses already beat them to market and are surprisingly popular, so Google has something to prove. And since everyone’s now obsessed with AI doing everything but blinking for you, the timing might actually work.
The real question: Will anyone actually want a pair of glasses that talks back?
We’ll find out in 2026, assuming they don’t get delayed, quietly canceled, or rebranded into another experimental product graveyard.
