• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

I want every single person who orchestrated January 6th to be fully investigated and held accountable.

I want everyone who knowingly played a role in the chaos, manipulation, and setup to face consequences.

And I want every member of the media who helped run cover, who pushed a narrative they knew was false, and who smeared innocent Americans to answer for it.

Most importantly:

I want every politician and every member of the J6 Committee who hid evidence, buried footage, and suppressed testimony that would have cleared the January 6 defendants to be placed under federal investigation and charged accordingly.

If you lied, if you covered it up, if you framed Americans as terrorists for political gain —
then you should face real accountability under the law.

No exceptions.
No immunity.

No more two-tier justice system.

Bolivia Ends Socialist Rule With Paz Inauguration, Starlink Deal

Story by Sergio Mendoza
• 4h
(Bloomberg) -- Rodrigo Paz was sworn in as president of Bolivia, ending two decades of almost uninterrupted socialist rule and setting the stage for a renewal in relations with the US.

Deputy US Secretary of State Christopher Landau, who headed an American delegation to the inauguration on Saturday, said Paz agreed to approve a license for Starlink, Elon Musk’s internet satellite network, along with measures to encourage US tourism, investment and other links with Bolivia.

Paz has pledged to repair relations with Washington, attract foreign investment and curb spending to address Bolivia’s deepest economic crisis in four decades. Landau previously said Paz’s election would “usher in a new era of cooperation and partnership” between the two countries.

Paz will seek an agreement with the International Monetary Fund by March, his economic adviser Jose Luis Lupo said this week.

Paz beat former President Jorge Tuto Quiroga in a runoff election in October.

#news Fast Fact: Bernie Sanders speaking out against a filibuster that he championed just 3 years ago.
#DC
Bernie Sanders, 2025: The filibuster is an important part of what the Senate is. Right now, we should maintain the filibuster.

Bernie Sanders, 2022: Angrily demands an end to the filibuster to "save American democracy."
#democracy
Sanders engaged in passionate advocacy during Senate debates on voting rights legislation, where he repeatedly called for filibuster reform or elimination to "protect our democracy"

This was not a single "angry demand" but a series of floor speeches and statements emphasizing urgency.

The new 2025 position comes from a recent interview during a government shutdown debate, where Sanders explicitly defended maintaining the filibuster.
#ChristinaAguayoNews
In response to questions about past support for abolishing the filibuster:

"The Republicans understand that the filibuster is an important part of what the Senate is. [...] Well, I think, right now, we should maintain the filibuster."

Sanders elaborated that the filibuster encourages negotiation between parties, criticizing Republicans for not securing the required 60 votes to end the shutdown as nearly every democrat is voting against reopening the government.

During debate on the Freedom to Vote Act in 2022, Sanders delivered a lengthy floor speech urging filibuster changes to overcome Republican blocks on voting protections.

"I don’t think we should be afraid about adjusting the filibuster to make the U.S. Senate work. I think it is the right thing to do—not blowing it up but making some adjustments to make it work."

"But even for those who feel that the filibuster is a good thing and helps bring us together, I would ask this question: Isn’t the protection of voting rights, the most fundamental wellspring of this democracy, more important?

"Isn’t protecting voting rights and preventing their diminution more important than a rule in the Senate, which has not always been in existence and was not envisioned by the Founders?"

"Our proposal for a talking filibuster on these pieces of legislation would be the first step toward passing voting rights, restoring this body, and breaking the gridlock that we now face on this vital issue"

"That vote will determine whether anything we discuss today [...] will, in fact, become law. That is the vote to change Senate rules and establish a talking filibuster—a process which gives the minority an enormous amount of time to object to legislation and voice their concerns."

"If we disenfranchise voters in this country, our democracy is on a slide away from democracy. [...] If we disenfranchise enough folks from the polls, we won’t have a democracy to talk about anything because it is fundamental to our democracy."

Sanders voted later that day to alter Senate rules for a filibuster carve-out on voting rights, which failed 52-48. T

He thought removing the filibuster was essential to "protect our democracy" from voter suppression.

This isn’t about healthcare. It never was.
It’s about power — 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.
While America bleeds at the checkout line, they’re polishing the crowns of socialism in D.C.
And here’s the part they really don’t want you to know: 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬.
You saw it just a few days ago when socialist voters picked a socialist mayor promising “free stuff.”
That’s not compassion. That’s control dressed up as kindness.
Hakeem Jeffries, Chuck Schumer, and their crew are playing the oldest game in Washington.
𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 — 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝘆, “𝗛𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝗶𝘁.”
They used the shutdown to rile up their base and drive voter turnout, but now they don’t know how to end it without losing face.
𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 $𝟭.𝟰 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆’𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 “𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲” 𝗳𝗼𝗿 $𝟯𝟱𝟬 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 — 𝘀𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗲𝘀, 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻.
𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆. They use the shutdown as blackmail, leveraging the suffering of the American people.
Then if Republicans give in to their demands, their plan to energize their base before the elections will have worked — and they’ll come out on top looking like the heroes, while still adding $350 billion toward socialism to buy more votes.
𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗹𝘆, 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁.
But the tragedy is that behind all that political theater, real Americans are still struggling — because if Obamacare actually worked, none of this manipulation would even be possible.
If Obamacare actually worked, it wouldn’t need another bailout.
If it helped people stand on their own two feet, it wouldn’t keep draining the middle class to fund itself.
I’m not speaking from politics; I’m speaking from 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.
People like me make too much to qualify for help, but not enough to afford the plans.
We go without coverage, yet we still pay taxes so that others — including some who don’t work or aren’t even citizens — get for free what we can’t afford to buy.
That’s not resentment; that’s 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.
And the math backs it up.
To give you an idea of how miserably these programs are failing to give the American people a hand up — when 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝟭𝟯.𝟲 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 were on welfare.
Now it’s over 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻.
And under socialism, that number will rise dramatically.
We’re not helping Americans get back on their feet anymore — we’re keeping them on their knees.
And that’s the point.
Because when people depend on government to survive, they stop questioning the hand that feeds them.
Dependency doesn’t just weaken people — it controls them.
It decides what they’re allowed to say, who they’re allowed to blame, and what they’re willing to trade for security.
𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆’𝘃𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 — 𝗯𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲.
This shutdown isn’t a fight for fairness.
It’s blackmail — using the pain of working Americans to force more spending before the midterms.
They’ll cry about SNAP and hungry kids, but how many families who never needed help before can’t buy food right now because their paychecks stopped?
And who can end the shutdown?
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁.
They don’t care how long it drags out — the longer it hurts, the more leverage they get.
That’s not leadership. That’s tyranny with a smile.
𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴.
As we expose their darkness to the light, their power to deceive loses its grip faster than they’re losing their minds.
The Founding Fathers are still sending their wisdom forward — even today.
Those who choose to bow to the kings of socialism will inherit their newfound kingdoms in New York, California, and a few other sanctuary states.
𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 — 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵, 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿.

Donald Trump For President

🚨
JUST IN: Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer says Democrats are only willing to end the shutdown if Republicans agree to extend Obamacare tax credits for another year.
“Democrats are ready to clear the way to quickly pass a government funding bill that includes health care affordability,” Schumer said.
“Leader Thune just needs to add a clean one-year extension of the ACA tax credits to the CR so that we can immediately address rising health care costs.”
So there it is — Democrats are holding government funding hostage over more Obamacare subsidies.
While Americans suffer under record inflation, they’re still trying to force more government spending.

They just want their mid term election slush fund freed up is what that amounts too. Just shut up and go home so you can play hide the schmeckel with yore hubby.

UK beat Florida by 30 and it does absolutely nothing for me. I hate Stoops so much. All the total blowouts I sat through in my life with the hope of one day beating the shit out of them on the football field.... Nothing. LoL

I’m seeing this a lot, more and more Americans are choosing to live in Hotels

The price of rent has gotten so out of control in America it’s now half the monthly price to just live in a hotel and have all utilities, water, WiFi and everthing included

“Yes, we live in a hotel, and honestly, it's by choice. — It's all just one bill a week. Like, seriously, where else are you gonna get a roof over your head with a little small kitchen, bathroom, bedroom? Plenty big enough for two people for $314, approximately dollars a week.

Now, this includes your power, your water, your Wi-Fi any maintenance. You don't have to worry about lawn care or dealing with anything outside. You have to get a key to even get in, to even knock at my door. We didn't have to pay any huge deposits, which was the big breaking point when we went out looking for a place. And if you have a background, that just makes it even harder.“

Really think about this. The price of rent in America is so insane you can now living in a hotel for cheaper, much much cheaper
