The Big Tree
This nearly 400-year-old burr oak (Quercus macrocarpa), also known as the McBaine Burr Oak, stands alone in the Missouri River floodplain in Boone County, about 10 miles south of Columbia, Missouri. It’s Missouri’s largest burr oak and tied for the national champion, measuring 89 feet tall with a 130-foot crown spread and a 24-foot trunk circumference. The tree, estimated to have sprouted in the 1600s, has endured floods, droughts, lightning strikes (including one in 2020), and vandalism, and was visible to the Lewis and Clark Expedition around 1804. It’s on private land but publicly accessible via Burr Oak Road off Route K.
Not sure if your paying attention to the live feed from Portland I posted earlier but there are tons more patriots there tonight. There is a much more defined line of loyalty and it could either get real wild or antifa will be shown to be pussies unless the greatly outnumber their victim.
