That intersection is Orange and Central in downtown Orlando. Dangerous place given the new influx of clientele in downtown. The queen and I went to a nice steakhouse a few blocks away last night to celebrate a few things, and I had my concealed carry pistol in my jacket. No way in hell I go to that area and not be carrying. 2 OPD officers were shot a block from there 2 years ago. On Halloween last year there was a mass shooting (technically 3 people I think, may have been 2, can’t remember) . Let’s just say a certain demographic has made downtown for the most part uninhabitable in recent years. The mayor has to very carefully talk about it cuz he is one of those typical Orange Co. FL libs who is inclusive to all. Me and my buddies used to go downtown when we were younger to go drinking, no more. It ain’t Chicago or Portland, but make no mistake, downtown Orlando is a dangerous place.

Too bad they banned Texas OU weekend in downtown Dallas. Thousands of people walking up and down the streets yelling Boomer Sooner or Hook 'em would clear out a lot of the homeless people.
