I don't think "Journalists" keep their 1st amendment protections for inciting criminality.

Maybe they are going after Brennan and Comey for perjury and testing the waters to see if DC area juries will convict them. They may be saving the major charges like treason in hopes they don't have to go down that path (I disagree). Get convicted and sentenced to jail for a period of time is really all the DOJ is after. The charges that carry significant consequences may not be a road they want to go down as there are a plethora of participants...on both sides of the aisle. If they don't go down that road now they will go down it later when it's much more bumpy.
