Now -- absent the gauzy and glitzy fawning coverage of a campaign media in the tank for anyone not named "Donald Trump" -- the world can see who Kamala Harris is AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN.
I wrote here more times than I can count, as well as in articles on my Substack, that Kamala Harris was doomed as a POTUS candidate from the start for one very simple and obvious reason -- she's a terrible candidate who is not very intelligent, has never accomplished ANYTHING on merit since graduating from law school, and she lacked the skills necessary to convince non-partisans to vote for you.
First Undeniable Fact:
Before the 2024 campaign, she had only ONE prior election where she ran against a formidable and well-funded GOP candidate. That was in the 2010 race of Calif. Attorney General pitting her -- DA of SF County -- v. Steve Cooley, DA of LA County.
2010 was the first year Democrats swept all 8 statewide races in a single election -- from Senator down to Insurance Commissioner.
The other seven Democrats won their races by margins of between 10 and 19%.
Harris won by .3%, and only after 3 weeks of counting absentee ballots that broke her way. She received 1 million fewer votes than the Dem. candidate for Insurance Commissioner.
Second Undeniable Fact: She came out of the Dem party primary debates in the summer of 2019 with a press corp showering her with praise and had an almost bottomless well of money. She spent months -- as a sitting Senator she had no real day job -- traveling between Calif, Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina.
After the debates she was in the mid-teens in polling and rising faster than anyone else.
Just after Thanksgiving she dropped out with no money and polling numbers under 5% -- IN CALIFORNIA.
She's not smart.
She's not likable.
She's not accomplished -- her offices have been served up for her on a silver platter.
The more she talks, the less voters like her.
Same as it ever was.
