To be clear, I am 100% against censoring speech.

Me too. The commies already did it to conservatives.
I would like to see X cleanup bots. There are a lot of crazy people with crazy tweets out there but there are dark forces out there using bot farms that want to divide our country and are responsible for a portion of those tweets. I like people outing themselves and getting fired more than censoring.

The heart of this post is why Charlie was targeted.
He was undoing a 100 years of leftist indoctrination in our education system. For those who got through unscathed, but w/o a foundation in Christ, he stemmed the slide into Godless dogma.
For those who were accursed and already indoctrinated, he created doubt, causing them to revisit the worldview.
He was also, arguably, the most important Conservative alive. He created the largest conservative organization, directly count-balancing the Democratic ground game advantage. He had one of the largest PACs, creating a network for fundraising that runs through TP. He was capturing and teaching an entire generation of voters at the right time in history when they are rejecting the subjective moralism of atheism.
He was going to be President and approach the office from a position of strength no other politician has ever had, built on his own hard work, merit and grit.
We lost a lot this week, but we need to double-down. If you aren't bold in your faith, what you believe, and standing firm in every setting you are in, stand up. James O'keefe had a great question: what is your price? Is it $10M? $20M? $100M? $1B? What is your price to be quiet?
If you have a price, you are for sale.

So I encourage everyone here to ask themselves, honestly, do you have a price?

If you think it's bad in England, it will be 10x worse in the US if they regain control. They will pack the SCOTUS and take all the guns away. First with a buy back programs to make people feel warm and fuzzy. Then by armed people (those not born here or even citizens) going door to door. They didn't bring millions of people into the country to assimilate.

Was at MD this morning. While in waiting room, I looked around and everyone had their heads stuck in their phones, except me. Would have been easy pickings for anyone with ill-intent. People pull your heads out of your phones and pay attention---nobody is that important. They are not looking to go after people at gun stores or rifle ranges. They will go after soft targets with people not paying attention. We've seen it happen often...schools, churches, subways, busses and other easy targets.

We need personal responsibility to come back - we need to not allow words to serve as weapons - and that’s a PERSONAL obligation. Not the speaker’s obligation.

We can’t count on the speech of others to be so impactful. We need to do a better job as a community of parents and patriots to raise our kids with tougher skin and more understanding about their emotion and reactions.
Censoring is not a partisan tool - it will equally destroy both sides of the political spectrum.
I have only a handful of things I’d fight and die for. Free speech and the ability to defend myself are in that list.
