I say good riddance, this was a mistake to make them a territory in the first place.

They were made a territory or whatever to avoid tariffs and taxes. Products and people had almost free access. Many of the Big Pharma companies had manufacturing plants there. Many were wiped out through a hurricane and took off to China rather than rebuild.

Let them have their say and stop the money flow. That means not even a transition period.
