Clinton wants Trump to defuse the Iran stuff to 1) save his friends in Iran and 2) to keep them from releasing what they have on Hildebitch as it would surely implicate him.

I thought US Attys were allowed to carry guns.

It isn't entirely private. It is loosely part of the government but granted independence (maybe not the right word) it is a hybrid.
Grok it.
interests

Yes, the Federal Reserve is a hybrid of government and private interests. It’s a unique entity, not fitting neatly into either category. Here’s the breakdown:
Government Elements: The Fed was created by Congress in 1913 via the Federal Reserve Act, giving it a public mandate to manage monetary policy, stabilize the economy, and oversee banks. Its Board of Governors, including the Chair, is appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate. It reports to Congress and operates under federal law.

Private Elements: The 12 regional Federal Reserve Banks are structured like private corporations, with member banks (commercial banks in their regions) holding stock and electing some of their directors. These banks operate independently in day-to-day functions, and their profits (after expenses) are largely returned to the U.S. Treasury.

Hybrid Nature: The Fed’s dual structure balances public oversight with operational independence. It’s not a government agency in the traditional sense (e.g., it’s not funded by taxpayer dollars but by its own operations, like interest on securities). Yet, it’s not fully private either, as it serves public goals, not shareholder profits, and is accountable to Congress.

This blend allows the Fed to act insulated from short-term political pressures while pursuing long-term economic stability, though it’s often debated whether this setup prioritizes public or private interests more. Critics argue it gives too much power to unelected bankers; defenders say its independence is crucial for effective policy.

That is why there is legitimate exposure to the head of fed being under the executive branch. Can't have an unelected official outside of the executive control. Congress overreacted on it.
The fed is govt via hybrid model. President has domain over executives not congress.
I am pretty certain a legit SC would agree
Correct me if i'm wrong but if congress created it, congress can dissolve it.

Because they're allowed, doesn't mean they do. Libs
Then they can be targets of criminals.

The home builders are buying every piece of vacant land in the area and building multi-thousand home developments on them. Yesterday, a 3000 home site east of Dallas was announced. In my area there are probably 15-20 home sites with huge numbers of homes being built.

You can't drive anywhere in DFW without sitting in traffic with road construction. That's mostly on freeways. Side streets are in desperate need of repair. Beats the Hell out of your vehicle driving on them.

Same with the outskirts/suburbs of Houston.

There are many videos on YT showing policemen and others (CPS) coming to people's doors unannounced and without warrants. Many people refuse to open their doors and yell through the door or use their audio devices. When some people open their doors, the policeman puts his foot in the door so it won't close. When the homeowner moves the officers foot, they are arrested for assaulting a LEO. Ergo, I don't open my doors for anyone until I know who they are and why they are there. I also make them stand 10 feet away from my door before I will open it. But, I've only has police at my house once in 39 years and that was after I was robbed.

The SCOTUS has ruled people have a right to videotape LEOs as long as they are on public property. However, they must remain at a distance. Amazing the number of LEOs who go out of their way to instigate "interfering with an investigation" threats to the videographers. Some get arrested and some don't. Usually it takes a supervisor officer to inform the junior officers of the constitutional right to record them. Many refuse to give their names and badge numbers. What really pisses the LEOs off is videoing of police departments and the squad cars. Many are told they are on private property when they are standing on public sidewalks. Aren't PDs and gov't buildings public property paid for by taxpayers?
