Oregon player ejected and run disallowed for malicious contact after being called safe on the field. Catcher is clearly blocking the plate without the ball, not sure what the runner is supposed to do differently. Now the player misses the elimination game today.
Vanderbilt losing at home to Wright state in the 8th. They hit what was clearly a foul ball. Can’t find video but the ball hit a utility pole that was easily 10 yards foul after leaving the park. Initially ruled foul by the first base umpire, then the umpires get together and decide to award the two run homerun. Candy scores to and takes the lead.
Vanderbilt coach Tim Corbin also thought the ball was fair.
"I didn't think it was a decision," he said. "I just thought he hit it so hard and so high that it had cleared the pole, and then after it went past the pole, it went the other direction.“.

Sorry Doc, still your fault. It’s your job to know and to think critically and in the best interest of your patients.
