Don't know about gas prices where you live but here in Texas they haven't gone down. Rather, they have steadily risen. Saw many stations yesterday above $3.00/gallon. Have increased by about 30-40 cents per gallon in the past 2 months.
Almost all of the elected reps in both parties have used NGOs and other gov't funding to pad their bank accounts massively.
If these elected reps are not held accountable for their theft, it will likely send the word out than nobody is responsible for their actions anymore. Then welcome back to Tombstone and the Wild West.

Interesting article in today's digital paper about restaurants raising prices claiming tariffs are the cause. Except, Trump has postponed tariffs for 90 days. Just like many companies, anything said which could cause an increase in prices is immediately passed on to consumers even before costs increase.
