Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

They never were fossil fuels. Just labeled that for its political use. Many O&G people I speak with have said for a long time that wells refill the wells if they aren't drained to rapidly.
I think you'll still see EU trying to derail peace. Without war there spending is unsustainable. Economic commerce has contracted in Europe since covid. They can't reliably run their production centers. Outside of scraping the green deal and going back to reliable energy they are kaput

Fossil fuel is bullshit. Crude doesn't come from old dead animals. By calling it fossil fuel it created an image that crude was a scarce commodity. This artificial scarcity like peak oil is what allows the mindset of high prices being normal.
There shouldn't be charges for water the way it is either but here we are.

I have a theory on the sheer number of commutations & pardons from that administration. I assume there's always a long list of people petitioning for such that get sent in for consideration & review. I think with pudding pop & co they were so disjointed & him completely unable to perform the most basic of duties, they just said fvck it, sign em all.
Check to see where OBiden was when the pardons were issued. May find times when OBiden was at the beach while he was pardoning people. No bueno. Doubtful any aide brought in their arms all the documents necessary for a pardon of that many without using an 18-wheeler or two. And a limo or two full of more aides which would have been a zoo and moreso as word was leaked of massive activity at the shore. We know when he was comatose on the beach he wasn't signing anything.
Amazing how corrupt both sides of the aisle are being shown to be at local, state or federal levels.
There was an X on here in January claiming the DOJ knew that staffers and cabinet secretaries were using the auto-pen. I doubt if OBiden ever signed his real name. Apparently, he didn't sign any of the pardons to his family himself.
Would be great to find all those ruled invalid and watch the scrambling begin.
I saw somewhere that in essence he didn't sign anything after the 1st day iir. I'm pretty sure that is what I read. May have been qst week.

This is what has to happen. Investigate them at every turn. And arrest them when they clearly break the law. Put each mayor, governor, school superintendent, or other public servant who participated in this widespread rot in cuffs. Remember the first one will shock the world. Hell, just waiting on the first one.
