They should not "melt" a parking garage, but they can get hotter than typical car fires because of the chemical reaction involving the batteries. The lithium ion battery fires can get up to 4900 F degrees compared to around 1500 F for a "regular" car fire. The 4900 F degrees could certainly do more damage to concrete, but should not melt the concrete. My Great Aunt lived to be 107, I believe that she would have lived longer if it wasn’t for the COVID lock downs. She was an amazing lady!
