Many pharmaceuticals were made in Puerto Rico years ago. There were no duties or tariffs bringing them into the US. A hurricane destroyed many of the factories. The drug makers decided to move production to China rather than rebuild. PR is much closer to the US. Lots of jobs lost in rebuilding and production but huge profits to the drug companies.
