Yes, but Rapino continues with the we got paid less mantra. Courts told them they were stupid in taking the deal they did and have a nice day. The fact she still gets mic time is one of the best gaslighting schemes in the past 3 years.

Defenders of the USWNT all say the boys beating them is because it was a scrimmage. I have seen girls play boys in soccer, they are not losing cause it is a scrimmage if they can help it. The woman's team got beat and want that fact buried.
Yeah, I remember the woman's team making a fuss about their pay scale. The LPGA tour over the last decade seems to have a great model in closing the income gap between them and their male counterparts. Which doesn't involve much whining about it every time they are on TV. Get better people to market your game. The LPGA did that and are growing as a result.

I think Rapinoe would fit in perfectly at CNN or MSNBC.

I was a D3 basketball player and my wife was a D1 volleyball player. We have two teenage boys that are both currently 6’9. One a junior and one a freshman. Both are heavily involved in basketball and my youngest also is a left-handed pitcher. My oldest was also a good baseball player but suffered a career ending arm injury two years ago so he is basketball only now. He is being recruited and will play in college. Both are heavily involved in AAU basketball as well as the younger still being on the travel baseball scene.

in my experience the pettiness and parent bullshit was much more prevalent at the younger ages. As the kids get older that stuff for the most part goes away. When they get into the high school years success is generally merit based at the higher levels of competition (AAU Basketball or higher level travel baseball). I’m sure there are exceptions to this but in my experiences parent bullshit mostly goes away as they get older and more competitive.

School sports on the other hand are a breeding ground for parent problems because generally petty jealousies and perceived slights still factor in because parents of the lesser talented kids are jealous and feel slighted because they want their shittier kids to be successful and noticed like the kids who have worked 5 times as hard.

Talent and physical gifts usually take over as they get older. Some kids can work harder than anyone and still not cut it...and that doesn’t mean talented players don’t have to work... but some of them fly by with little effort and still are great players. Talent is always the thing that makes great players and great coaches. This comes from a former HS and travel baseball coach...I never gave parents or players anything but honest hard truth...and that usually took care of things. There are always going to be disillusioned parents and players....I just didn’t ever have time for the drama. Then again, I’ve been described as “ “unapproachable” and “brutally honest.”

Sorry, you can't tell me this wasn't intentional. Dude only had to GO STRAIGHT! Not like he had to zip around some bouys.

The fast track of the vaccine derailed the DS of crushing the economy for the reset. Now they are just grounding large tankers in one of the most narrow and heavily traveled passes in the world.

Was probably reading this thread instead of paying attention to driving.

Happens all the time

They also told the women golfers to shorten the skirts.....

I don’t know how good he is at basketball but 6’9 lefties don’t grow on trees....get him on a long toss program and get him with a legit pitching coach to create a repeatable clean delivery. Will be able to go to any school he wants if he doesn’t get drafted out of HS.

"Not in history but you'd think she would have advisors to help her out with these sorts of decisions."

She said she consulted with many attorneys who told her it would not be wise to sign the bill.

That's sort of like Barr/Durham and the DOJ saying they might not indict people for the Russia hoax or much else because they may have to be tried in DC and that may take work and persuasion to get a conviction.

Notice how all these news items start with, "Man with 5 guns..." They never start with "Guns..."

If GUNS kill people then,
Pencils misspell words,
Cars drive drunk, and
Spoons make people fat...

Never operator error is to blame. It's always the "machine's" fault.
I really think you are on something here. Almost no person should be blamed for being fat. The number of devices that make people fat far outweighs the single individual. One person can be overwhelmed by the number of things that make it fat...

Forks
Hair comb (if Amy Klobuchar)
Grills
Frying pans
Toaster ovens
Knives
Steak knives (really bad)
Blenders
Ovens
Casserole dishes
Tupperware
Aluminum foil
Refrigerators
Microwave ovens
Delivery drivers
Car
Freezers
Ice chests
Stoves
Stock pots

Fat people don’t stand a chance.
