To the left of the serial numbers you cut straight down from top to bottom so you get the set of 5s. Do a stack Like that and burn the edges but the serial number still has to show. Take that burnt group to bank. Say got caught on stove and get replacement. Do the same on right side.
Then you take the cut pcs w 20 or 50 and concrete glue them on to a $1 ea end.
If you look at a 20 now the serial numbers and denomination numbers are no longer straight up and down. That is because I was a derelict and had too much time on my hands
