We took it.
I was in Munich in 15, one women i talked with on a tour wouldn't go on the underground after 6 back then. Morning until afternoon was fine, but these air conditioning chasers would start waking up and hang around the train stations.
When I was in junior high I was visiting my aunt and uncle down in the Rio Grande Valley at their orange grove.
My uncle was a member of the Confederate Air Force so we drove over to Harlingen so I could see the planes and work on an Aviation Merit Badge.
This other member and pilot of this Catalina (see below) said, "Too bad you didn't wait until tomorrow to come out, we're taking this Catalina out for a run, and y'all could go with us."
I was like just my luck, wrong day - as a buy in junior high would be I was bummed out.
Next night I watching the news and that plane bought the farm on take-off killing everyone in it.
Sometimes you think it's a bummer, but is really a blessing.
Had that happened I wouldn't be on this thread with you great Patriots!
