I read somewhere recently that about 1 million people are expected to receive up to $1400 in the near future. These are people who didn't get any of the direct deposits over 200 million people got back in 2021 and 2022. The article said these people would get either a direct deposit or paper check. Don't recall exactly when but believe in the next couple of months.
