(through senior division directors) formally notifying the agency about the leadership changes he made last week. Curran didn't mention former Acting Secret Service Director Ron Rowe, but my sources tell me Rowe is retiring. Agents are still urging Curran to quickly push out Chief Operating Officer Cynthia Radway, who is extremely close to former Director Kimberly Cheatle, from her executive leadership post. In the 5 p.m. email, Curran announced that Tyler McQuiston will be his incoming chief of staff and Richard Giuditta, Jr. will serve as his senior adviser. McQuiston is a well-respected former longtime Secret Service agent who is coming out of retirement to help Curran reform the agency. Other new Secret Service leadership changes/reassignments Curran announced: Assistant Director Darryl Volpicelli, Office of Intergovernmental and Legislative Affairs, will be assigned as the acting deputy director. Assistant Director James Donahue, Office of Protective Operations, will be assigned to assistant director, Office Of Protective Operations, Mission Readiness. (I'm told Curran may still be looking for a position to reassign Donahue to -- he had to be moved out temporarily to make way for Stuart Allison.) Deputy Assistant Director Stuart Allison, Office of Protective Operations, will be reassigned to Assistant Director, Office of Protective Operations. Chief Counsel Thomas Huse, Office of the Chief Counsel, will be assigned to the Department of Homeland Security. Assistant Director David Torres, Office of Strategic Intelligence and Information, will be retiring in February 2024. Developing -- more information to come.

This is Biden’s legacy. And the Afghan debacle

And Col Macgregor was saying once they get past those fortress cities there really isn't a lot to stop them until they get near the Dnipro river. He was saying instead of advancing 1 or 2 miles a week in a few places you could see the line shift 20 miles in one day across the whole line.

Looks like that's where we are close to.

You wanna get rids of foreign gangs? Allow other gangs to take em out
You let Prince recruit former Seals, SF and Delta guys and they would have the cartels fighting each other because they wouldn't know who was doing what. Let them know there are $2B in an apartment building owned by Sinaloa and they can split 60% of the take... They would clear that building in 20 minutes. LOL.

I disagree only bc it is all open-source. I think of it as a David/Goliath story.
They built w 20million what other countries are sinking billions in to.
The more people that are in that arena competing for market share the better off the consumer will be. Imo

Power Back To The American People Correct?

What happened to Sam Altman once he was put under a spotlight by Donald Trump in front of the world? How many times have we got to do this people?

• Decentralized

• Democratized

• Demonopolized

This is "The New Republic".

Sam Altman was going the opposite direction of what D. Trump wants for the American people. Now he has been forced to change course.

-Now that people know they do not have to have membership fees.

-Now that people know they do not have to pay for access.

-Now that people know that they too can use the AI tool 'for free'.

-Now that they know DeepSeek can be used without internet connection.

They now have power to use at their disposal without having to go through any pay wall or risk having their data used against.

This is a game changer for humanity.

Sam Altman did nothing but expedite his own irrelevance in the AI field

Never forget. China is Asshole.

Fuck Yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gen X has to take some of the blame for not instilling those values in their kids.
Agree to some extent, but not entirely.

I was raised by boomer parents who could give two shits about my daily schedule when I was kid. Gen X was lucky in that we had some pretty no-nonsense teachers and especially coaches that kept us grounded in morals and values. I’m talking grabbing your facemask yelling so loud and spitting while talking you wanted to cry. Making you run until you puke, then laugh at you and make you play in your puke. Teachers that would ZFG your feelings and hand out a F like it was nothing. Etc…

My boomer parents were sort of the good cops in my life because they could afford to allow “society” to aid them in the raising of their kids.

Now as a Gen X parent, I’m not afforded the same luxury as I find myself having to CONSTANTLY unteach the shit my kid learns in school, explain away all the bullshit the coach allows the players to get away with, explain that “being white” is not a privilege, and explain and reinforce our family values daily - because they contrast so clearly with school “society”… It’s fucking exhausting.

It’s unfortunate that I can’t head first dive into my career and earn and crush it like my parents did - knowing my children are getting taken care of by their society… it’s also a blessing because I’m so involved in my kid’s psychology - more so than my parents were ever for mine.

Either way, out of pure necessity, Gen X is doing an order of magnitude more than our Boomer parents did to ensure “productive members of society” emerge…

I also understand a lot of Gen X parents are shit heads for allowing modern society to raise their kids, just wanted to speak peace on why I only partially agree.

Hope this helps.
