Dear Cary,
Thank you for contacting me regarding the integrity of the 2020 Presidential Election. I welcome and appreciate your concerns and this opportunity to respond.
In 2020, I raised alarms when many states haphazardly changed their rules for mail-in ballots. There is no doubt that these changes significantly contributed to the chaos we have witnessed. I also opposed Democrat legislation to push nation-wide absentee balloting and ballot harvesting. Fortunately, these proposals were not included in economic relief bills that were signed into law.
I sent a letter to Attorney General Barr urging him to use the Department of Justice's authority to ensure that vote counting is being conducted in a fully transparent manner. Additionally, President Trump was entitled to pursue legal challenges based on discrepancies and claims submitted by poll watchers.
Furthermore, I signed onto the amicus brief supporting Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s lawsuit regarding the 2020 presidential election. I believed this suit could have allowed the courts to settle a novel legal issue, which is the role of our judiciary. The Constitution gives state legislatures the right to establish the rules that govern state elections. However, in 2020, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, several Governors, state Secretaries of State, and judges altered election rules to change how mail-in ballots, signatures verification, and other issues like naked ballots were treated. This posed the constitutional question of whether these actors usurped the authority of state legislatures.
It is important that our elections are conducted transparently and claims of election fraud are investigated so that the American people will have full confidence in the result.

MY REPSONSE
Dear Dan,
The bottom line is you didn’t support President Trump when he needed you most. On the other hand, you had his full support.
You state that you
“In 2020, I raised alarms when many states haphazardly changed their rules for mail-in ballots.”, yet you did nothing to reverse or cease these unconstitutional actions. The election process should have come to a FULL STOP right there by every republican and conservative member of the SCOTUS along with the rest of the judiciary. Same goes for the Department of Justice.
Did you forget your oath of office, you know the part to “DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION” – you FAILED and worst the part is you failed by doing NOTHING.
Your inaction proves what you all are – COWARDS. To put it bluntly you are all TRAITORS as well. Allowing blatant unconstitutional actions to steal an election directed by foreign actors and condoning it by inaction is treason pure and simple.
You also fell for the fake “assault” on the Capitol Building that was staged by Antifa and BLM Operatives – as a combat veteran/operator you should have known better.
You should have supported Senator Cruz’s proposal for a non-partisan commission to study the overwhelming voter fraud.
You are a weak RINO and I cannot wait to primary your ass in 2022.
You send back some weak bullshit "form letter" to someone that supported you when no one knew you, shows you don't deserve to represent the Great State of Texas.
Any time you are in Houston you’d like to meet in person and debate the facts – name the place I’ll be there.
When you leave those that supported you, as President Trump did, hanging in the wind – that is pure cowardice.
This nation has enough cowards in Washington and it’s time we bury all of you at the ballot box.
