We got hit hard by the bird flu "supposedly" a few years ago. They told everyone around Louisville and Southern Indiana to kill any chickens to avoid keeping the pandemic going. Nobody I know killed a single bird and none of had any excess death. Matter of fact the only time people noticed dead birds in excess around here was a few days after the Ohio train derailment.
