Okay, Fam. Perhaps the craziest year in my life, complete with massive highs and incredible lows, will culminate with me accepting a position with an entrepreneurial affiliate of a long-standing successful company and relocating to the Denver area. Gonna do great things with the new venture and also start turning Colorado red again. We were always going to retire in the Rockies, and this gets us closer in both location and financial ability.

Arranging all of this has taken most of my time and energy which kept me from posting much. But I am still here every day keeping up with the start of the greatest time period in this country’s history since its founding.

Trust the Plan and remain patient. It’s all starting to come to fruition. Love you all!

Abundant Life Christian School shooting: 2 killed, 7 hospitalized; suspect dead
Two people were killed and seven have been hospitalized from a shooting at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, police said.
The suspected shooter, a juvenile, is also dead, police said. The school has been cleared, police said.

The injured victims' conditions were not immediately clear.

Officials are working to reunite students with their parents. About 390 students from kindergarten through 12th grade attend the school.

Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., wrote on social media, "My sincere condolences and prayers for all the victims of the tragedy at Abundant Life Christian School. I will continue to closely monitor the situation."
Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers wrote, "I am closely monitoring the incident at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison. We are praying for the kids, educators, and entire Abundant Life school community as we await more information and are grateful for the first responders who are working quickly to respond."

The police in my city shot and killed a man threatening them with 2 knives in his front yard on Friday. They gave him commands to drop the knives. He didn't. When he approached an officer, he was shot and killed. The nitwits on the local Nextdoor said the policeman should have shot the perp in the leg to wound him or used less lethal bullets. What?

Like my Dad told me early and often, "if you are forced to defend yourself with a weapon, make sure your story is the only one told."
