On domestic issues:

trump promises to reinstate the entry ban for people from a number of countries with Muslim populations, tighten asylum provisions, and complete the wall on the border with Mexico;

Advocates for reducing "gun-free zones," supports programs to teach school teachers how to shoot and arm them;

Promises to require universities to "defend American traditions and Western civilization" and introduce "patriotic education" classes in schools;

He intends to ban gender transition and abolish sex education in educational institutions.

Voting locations have shut down across most of the United States, including in critical states;

The process of counting votes is ongoing, with early results indicating that Republican Donald Trump is ahead. To win, he needs to secure a simple majority of electoral votes, which is 270 or more;

According to the latest data from AP, Kamala Harris is winning in Virginia and New Mexico;

Trump is winning in Butler County, Pennsylvania, with 65.9% of the votes, where there was an attempt on his life this summer, according to NBC;

According to preliminary results, Harris has 210 electoral votes and Trump has 230;

Fox News forecasts that Trump has 232 electoral votes and Harris has 216;

Trump's chances of winning exceed 96.6%, according to data from the online platform Polymarket;

The New York Times gives Trump an 89% probability of victory.
