Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

We all know that teachers unions are whores for money. The ultimate do nothing groups. I would not be surprised if money is being funneled to them from CCP to perpetuate the shutdowns. CCP is in an all out war against us and have been for years. The virus that China is responsible for is costing this generation of kids at least a year of education. At a minimum, 1/12 less than the rest of the world. With the liberal pollution in our education system limiting the quality of education for the sake of mythical "equality", we are already at a huge disadvantage globally. Tack on a loss of the past educational year, we are going to be hurt even further. Math and Science don't care what color or gender you are. They are agnostic to societal construct. We are competing in a technological race with China and they are kicking our ass because they don't bring politics into their school system. Fuckers like these school boards who are essentially an extension of the teacher's unions are to blame for nearly everything that is currently going on in this country, period.

The fiscal responsibility is mostly seen in conservative, or Red, states.
With the Pelosi Payoff Plan being rammed through Congress today, we will see a huge redistribution from Red States in order to bail out the Blue states that have huge budget deficits and debt. Is that why you work hard each day? Is that a responsible way for government to tax and spend.
I will be a “No” vote on this bill.

In other news - the Senate Parliamentarian has ruled that changes to Minimum Wage cannot be included in a Budget Reconciliation Bill. Pelosi is signaling that she will include that wage hike in this spending package, ordinarily making the bill fatal in the Senate. The Senators CAN override the Senate Parliamentarian - with the Vice President deciding. Care to guess what will happen?

In no case should Trump be endorsing people like this, but no doubt, the same people who advised him right out of the oval office are advising him to get behind the same republicans who refused to stand up for Trump and America on January 6th.
He doesn't support policies that benefit America. He supports what Mitch McConnell tells him to support. Jan. 6 should have been proof positive for Trump he cannot make any lasting change until the senate is cleaned out. Today, he - once again - doubled down on the same people who betrayed us. I wonder if these endorsements will be signs that the politicians have had reality explained to them and they are now on board with with MAGA 100% moving forward with no exceptions? Just a thought. About the only way that makes sense.

It appears that pubs are starting to understand that 90% of usual pub voters will be actively trying to oust current pub politicians. We are no longer their party, we are the party of MAGA. Trump was just the delivery vessel... and if you are against him you aren’t truly Maga, IMO!!!
