They don't appear because the software doesn't recognize the format is my guess?
If you want it to appear you'll have to 'right click' and 'copy image' then paste it here. IF that doesn't work then you have to 'right click' and 'save as' to your desktop. Then you can drag it over.
Another reason it might not appear is because it is larger than 2Mbtys. In that case you'll have to reduce it in size. On a Mac it's quite easy. Not sure about a PC tho.
