Watched a lawyer in FL explain the Disney lawsuit a little better and it's worse than it looked at face value. Disney is basically admitting to fraud in their suit. If they win they could be forced to pay off all their bonds that were issued tax free under the understanding that it was reedy creek and not Disney Co that issued those bonds. Disney is saying that they are Reedy creek. That is exactly what wasn't supposed to happen. Disney isn't looking at just $100's of millions in taxes lost. They could be looking at billions in bonds and fines if the state decides to really go after them.

He's been doing this for over a decade in FL and has gone against Disney in court and the only thing that even kind of made sense was hoping that Desantis is President and they drag this out in court until a friendlier governor can be elected. But he said that was an insane gamble.
