Pretty sure rare earth metals aren’t rare. Just cheaper to get from China cuz already mining.
I’m not so sure also that this is/was one of the redirected supply chains that DJT was working on as part of his overall strategy vs. China.
I think Vietnam and India are active in trying to get in in the rare earth action.

I actually buy that healthcare and medicine is a part of the national security apparatus so how is it we can send money to China to do something we can do here or in Canada if the mines were functioning?
