Took a generic antibiotic for five days. It certainly relieved some of the symptoms but it simply lingered For several weeks. True to form, didn’t go to the doctor immediately and waited until infected - temps in 102-103 range. Meds knocked that out fairly quickly.

Glad you are feeling better. I never felt in danger because my lungs stayed clear. And my oxygen saturation stayed 97-98-99% but man it sure flattened me.
Since covid i have more faith in the local vet than any doctor. I have no trust in them at all.
Start buying black electricians tape so you can change some of the letters/numbers.
I decorated my tree and house over the weekend. At 72, that wore me out. I go crazy and put my lights from the outer edge into the trunk and back out all the way around the tree. Makes it look 3D. Also a pain to do. I have strings of unusual lights. One is a string of lit shotgun shells. Another is a string of old fluorescent lights my grandparents had on their trees.

I hear yah. I bought a place for my daughter. She is a young widow with 2 kids, so I have been doing reno's on that and I bought another one, that I am doing reno's on as a rental. I do as much as I can myself. I can't go on the roof anymore, or climb ladders but I can still do quite a bit.
But I have changed my mind on the rental place. I am going to finish the reno, then put it up for sale. At 73, this is the first time I have actually felt like retiring.
I've told this board about The Mower across the street. He is anal about yards and leaves. He mows 3 times a week. On Saturday, he bought a cart to attach to his riding mower which picks up leaves and tosses them in the basket. He picked up all the leaves in his yard as well as the people across the street and next door. My yard was included. First he blew the leaves out of the bushes with a power blower. He also mowed the street and picked up the leaves there. I usually mulch my leaves. Anyway, the wind is blowing today and leaves are falling everywhere on the yards and street he de-leafed this weekend. Thank you very much.

Anal Retards can be handy. Ask him to collect all the leaves and put them in your composting area or bin. As you would like to contribute to the community. Betcha his wife hen pecks the shit out of him.

Well maybe I was harsh on him. I remember when I lived in AR. and the wife still worked, I went an bought a new riding mower, a Husky piece of shit.
And because I was bored and the wife was gone most of the day. I would pick rocks, expand the lawn and cut grass. Then make supper.
