It's likely not a real gun. It's a model replica from the video game Deus Ex. It's a Diamond Back .357. I know someone commissioned a custom version of the gun that is functional, and it's not impossible that Elon did so but seems unlikely to me. Probably just a 3D print of one.
Personally, I believe everything in that picture is carefully staged for symbolic purpose and not for functional use.
He seems quirky enough to pay for someone to make him one.
For those who don't know, Deus Ex was a series of video games putting transhumanist heroes (with robotic and computer implants) against a globalist cabal, after the world is crushed by a pandemic.

Still wont trust it. Damage has been done. I will think about trusting Twitter if every single person who worked their over the last 6 years is fired. Then have the new employees vetted like AG's and democrats have vetted Donald Trump over that same time frame. Every single one of them. Also I would like to see investigations into Twitter employees and execs lying to congress for years and see what else has been going on that may have been against the law. I may join then, but even then, screw Twitter.

A lot of bloviating from him and nothing ever comes of it. And it comes off cheesy after seeing thousands of his MyPillow ads.
I can’t ever hear him talk and not think he’s about to offer me 30% off for the next 90 seconds on some MyPillow luggage or whatever he started selling now. No one will take him seriously and that’s not a good thing.
