The states up north who want to curtail the use of natural gas elsewhere are a large part run electrically by burning coal. I've heard that throughout Michigan coal fired plants comprise about 95% of the power generation. Exactly like the Power & Light person said. Where are calls warning about the evils of coal pollution in those states? They can stop being hypocrites anytime.
