There is a valid point here, but not all treasury bonds are maturing in the next few years. Yes, interest on the debt will rise as interest rates rise, but nearly as dramatic as this tweet claims.

Also looking around we’re now seeing commodities like oil/gold/silver slipping due to rates rising/dollar strengthening while at the same time stock markets floundering & real estate slowing with the recession being ever more evident. Hell Powell’s own comments are to “cause pain” to get a handle on inflation. IE create a recession.

A recession = eventually loosening monetary policy & lowering rates.

It’s still absurd that we’re in a position where half a trillion & a possibility of over a trillion goes to just servicing our debts. Just absurd that we’ve been saddled with such.

What are those sources? Again, the coverage about the collapse of the Russian lines in NE Ukraine is overwhelming. If things were going well for Russia, they wouldn't be saying and acting like they are now.

I agree the establishment has used Ukraine for money laundering for some time. I just see that as a separate issue.
