Don't confuse his education with intelligence. I am not saying he isn't intelligent and I mean no slight to Hoosier, though I am not a fan of Hoosiers this morning. But he has taken it upon himself at some point, and probably systematically and persistently, to become educated. To be an educated person. This is a choice. That doesn't happen, regardless of how "smart" someone is, without personally investing in becoming knowledgeable. Anyone can do it. We all should do it.

Amazon is pulling out all the stops to keep the facility from unionizing. They are flying in managers from around the region to try to get the place back on track. I also happen to know that they are looking to replace a good part of the facility management and that people have turned down big promotions and significant promises for the future because they don’t want to manage the only unionized facility in the country. And of course nobody wants to live in Bessemer, Alabama.
