• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Well one of those guys sat across from me in April of 2017 and said “people have tried to destroy our country and me and my friends are taking it back.”

He is a serious man and gave me zero reason to doubt his statement as he is not one for hyperbole.

Do you know any of those players?
You realize that’s the same thing the Schiff-like democrats would say about January 6th right?

IMO, that's not what we're looking at. The same Manchin who voted to impeach Trump (twice) is suddenly committed to doing what's right for the country? Look at his history. He's voted for all sorts of vile things. Keep the political theater going, keep their eyes off the irreparable damage done elsewhere.

The leftists know what they're doing is destroying the country. And yet they keep doing it anyway. Why would they do that knowing it would be disastrous in November? Because they don't intend to face the consequences for their actions. Whether they have the mother of all election cheats lined up, or whether those elections don't happen at all, facing the wrath of the voters is not in their gameplan.
I’m not sure this is accurate. The elections will happen, the pubs will win. I’m looking for a bunch of upcoming stories about how republicans are going to win in a red wave, followed by a bunch of post election stories about how the republicans won but underperformed based on expectations.

The bottom line is that it doesn’t matter who wins the election and they know it. Worst case for the dems is the republicans win and they whine and complain publicly while not really changing anything. The left owns the media, the federal bureaucracy and big tech; even if they lose an election, who cares? They will just crank up the propaganda, drive more division and keep pushing the agenda when they get back in power in a couple/few years. Rinse and repeat until the country collapses and the word government takes over.

So this UK article says the Vax causing AID syndrome now. Anyone else find any articles saying this for a cross reference purpose?
Acquired Autoimmune Deficiency. Sure sounds like it.

So my FIL is in the hospital with Rona + Pneumonia and they're insisting on giving him Remdesivir. Can someone give me quick cliffs on why we hate that drug so much? Apologies, one of the subjects I just skim.
Will they consider ivermectin? I'm guessing they won't, but depending on where you live, it's possible. I believe the main issues with Remdesivir are the low effectiveness and the risk of kidney damage. On this board, one of our MD's posted the following in post 87,291.

"I don’t know why remdesivir is the bogeyman on here. Yes there are Acute Kidney Injury risks but if you have no underlying renal dysfunction and are not a geezer, without diabetes or hypertension, your risk is low. 20-40%of ICU patients had AKI even before covid and remdesovir were around. A severe covid case with sepsis, Ards, systemic inflammation increases AKI risk more than anything.
You need to weigh the risks and benefits of any treatment but don’t depend on some of the anecdotal gospel and fantastical claims in here.
Nothing is ever as bad or as good as it seems. It’s up to you to make the best decision for yourself."

As for me, I'm not a doctor and don't know your FIL's general health, but it seems this treatment does have some risks. I've done a lot more research into the other treatments that have shown to be effective, and have very limited risks, such as the ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine.

Another option that one guy on this thread had great success with is fenofibrate. @catfishpunter uncle was in really bad shape in the hospital, and they wouldn't give him ivermectin or hcq, so he found this document on fenofibrate and gave it to the Dr's at the hospital, who agreed to try it. Worked great for him. Here's the link to the research.

1. Remdesivir does not reduce the presence of the virus in the blood, so start by asking the dr if it does. There are studies (non fauci that show it does not). If he says yes, ask him where that is supported.
2, It is toxic - caused serious injury to 12% of the patients in the trial

There was a Newsweek article recently talking about how Remdesivir contained nano glass particles which lead to strokes and death. Gilead Pharma recalled it "voluntarily".

Remdesivir and a ventilator are the kisses of death.
