• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Well one of those guys sat across from me in April of 2017 and said “people have tried to destroy our country and me and my friends are taking it back.”

He is a serious man and gave me zero reason to doubt his statement as he is not one for hyperbole.

No, which I think is a positive

I have no personal bias towards any of these great statesman one way or the other enabling a more realistic view potentially

The implication is you talked with Pompeo or his friend which is great and I hope that bears out

I understand the war between the elites and human beings is ongoing but since April of 2017 it hasn't gone well

What part of the country is "taken back?"

Explain the woke military and purge of it via politicians and covid vaccine? I am curious to hear a plausible theory on that

I'd love to see a list of elected politicians you trust and expect others to trust at any level of government

Where the founders intended? Yes, but where does it lie now

It's just an unserious view to look at the record government intervention, record surveillance, record spending/ taxation, record depravity and then weigh that against a Carlyle group politician and decide the latter's election overrides the former realities

IMO, that's not what we're looking at. The same Manchin who voted to impeach Trump (twice) is suddenly committed to doing what's right for the country? Look at his history. He's voted for all sorts of vile things. Keep the political theater going, keep their eyes off the irreparable damage done elsewhere.

The leftists know what they're doing is destroying the country. And yet they keep doing it anyway. Why would they do that knowing it would be disastrous in November? Because they don't intend to face the consequences for their actions. Whether they have the mother of all election cheats lined up, or whether those elections don't happen at all, facing the wrath of the voters is not in their gameplan.
