Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

All of these boys are very, very good. There’s another kid on the list who was Max’s lax teammate. (Not Eli who I included in my post) He’s already going D1. Has legit P5 offers. He’s a top 10 prospect in Ohio. (And I can personally attest this young man is a hell of an athlete. His attitude will need some adjustment)
Max is focusing on lacrosse for college. He told his coach he’ll meet with anybody interested for football and be honored, but that’s not really his path. Still, every day…e-mail blowing up with football coaches just wanting to talk. Max’s first love is football. Always will be. He’s not ruling out playing both if he goes to a smaller school that allows him to play both. But lacrosse for college comes first. He’s weighed everything out and figured for what he wants to do post college, this the way he wants to go.
We’re just along for the ride and to help him figure out what he wants. We’ve been through this with my daughter. Much more relaxed this time around.
(yes, we are the horrible parents that let our boy play since he was 7 yo. He has 3 older sisters and likes to hit…and he can’t hit them. And it’s just how his brain works. Everything has always come down to sports from before he could talk.)
Fanciful theories aside, I think everyone here knows he's evil and hellbent on world domination.

Joe Biden’s mandate was to restore norms and work across the aisle to heal the country’s toxic political culture—in other words, to not be Donald Trump.
This past week demonstrated how he has failed to live up to that promise. In particular, his speech in Atlanta serves as a microcosm for a disappointing year of leadership that has cratered his popularity.
The president compared opponents of changing Senate filibuster rules, in order to pass Democratic voting rights bills, to notorious racists like Bull Connor, George Wallace, and Jefferson Davis. In so doing, Biden is appropriating Trump’s method of otherizing adversaries and casting political opponents as “enemies of the people” and “human scum.”

I am happy to report that the Kansas Dept. of Health is going to stop testing and contract tracing for schools, which will force districts to do the same, or put the burden (cost, resources, staffing) on the districts that wish to continue doing it. I think it will force everyone's hand. Governor Kelly probably thinks this will save her bacon come elections. I can ensure all of you, Kansas will be going hard red in Nov. Even my libtard ex-wife isn't going to vote dem.

“The medical mandate for the nurses and doctors what they’re trying to do is insane. In Florida, we provided protections, so they were rehired,” said DeSantis.
A spokesperson for DeSantis told USA Today that Florida law protects all workers from being fired if they opt not to get vaccinated and that includes health care workers.

If she is strong and healthy can her immune system deal with it? If she can the baby will gain natural immunity I think. I am not a doctor tho, Has anyone had success with Natural Doctors or Naturopaths Herbalists etc?
