• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Rumor: Biden and Dems telling banks to hold off on evictions until midterms

I have posted before that I am in the default/REO/Foreclosure industry and you can take this as hearsay if you choose to but this is from some of the top executives at some of the largest foreclosure management firms in the country.

Rumor is that the Biden admin and many Dem senators are putting pressure on banks to not start the foreclosure process en masse on homes so that there is not a big wave. Why? Midterms of course.

The way preforeclosure usually works is when you reach 60 days or more past due on your mortgage, the banks start sending out "mortgage inspectors" to try to make contact with you and/or to see if you have left your house and it is vacant. HUD requires that all vacant homes be secured and damages reported in a timely manner.

Once it is vacant, and in agreement with the paperwork in your mortgage, the bank has the right to send people like my business that secure the house and start maintaining it and/or repairing it so it doesn't deteriorate or become a crack house depending on location. Side note, Wells Fargo was sued once for not maintaining their foreclosures in black neighborhoods and had to pay massive fines.

The number of mortgage inspections is up in massive numbers compared to the past 3 or 4 years but the speculation is we will not see actual evictions and foreclosures until June or July unless people have left voluntarily because the Dems are scared of more bad news before midterms.

Interesting my oldest daughter had a business doing this, she made pretty good money. Then she went into real estate business.
So is this still a viable business?

Go Max. Second place I grew up with his dad and played against him in college.
Wait, what? You grew up with who? Which dad? PM me.

My husband only played intramural in college at Hillsdale. (Dear God how I hear about it 😂)

Edit: just figured out who you were talking about. Took me a minute. That young man is good and a cool kid. He’s been raised right. Not as shifty and calculating as Max (god, he pisses everybody off😂) but he has more straight power and makes young men regret life.

All of these boys are very, very good. There’s another kid on the list who was Max’s lax teammate. (Not Eli who I included in my post) He’s already going D1. Has legit P5 offers. He’s a top 10 prospect in Ohio. (And I can personally attest this young man is a hell of an athlete. His attitude will need some adjustment)

Max is focusing on lacrosse for college. He told his coach he’ll meet with anybody interested for football and be honored, but that’s not really his path. Still, every day…e-mail blowing up with football coaches just wanting to talk. Max’s first love is football. Always will be. He’s not ruling out playing both if he goes to a smaller school that allows him to play both. But lacrosse for college comes first. He’s weighed everything out and figured for what he wants to do post college, this the way he wants to go.

We’re just along for the ride and to help him figure out what he wants. We’ve been through this with my daughter. Much more relaxed this time around.

(yes, we are the horrible parents that let our boy play since he was 7 yo. He has 3 older sisters and likes to hit…and he can’t hit them. And it’s just how his brain works. Everything has always come down to sports from before he could talk.)

Direct from a good friend who’s active SF currently.......

Terrible journalism. Robin Sage is an exercise that every Green Beret candidate does prior to graduating the course. It’s been going on since the inception of SF. It happens twice a year in North Carolina. Can’t believe this is getting twisted into a “civil war” storyline.

A buddy at work just passed away after a hospital stay for covid. He was fairly healthy and was in the hospital for 7 days. He was released to go home and his 2nd night home he had a blood clot. Im sure this will get listed as covid.

Do blood clots occur from illness? because he was double vax'd.
Similar thing happened to my pastor.

He was in his 70s and had some health issues, and he was in the hospital for a month with covid then pneumonia. But then he appeared to have finally cleared from the pneumonia and was about to be discharged to rehab when he had a stroke (blood clot). We lost him just before Christmas. No idea if he was vaxxed or remdesivired. I suspect he was.

Yes, clots do occur from illness( This is not a respiratory virus, per se. This has been known from the beginning.)

I’m not meaning disrespect or judging. How old was he? Overweight? Sickle cell? Diabetic?

I mean you're right. Covid leaked from a Chinese weapons lab in Wuhan around October 2019 during world military games. hundreds of soldiers and staff spread it.. China then covered it up and lied while it spread globally. When it became public their cases literally disappeared overnight and they removed all of the millions of deaths in 2020 and called it a "data error". There's honestly no telling how many people died in China from this. Lets be real here China has wayy too many people...this was a strategic move by Xi

Now the real fucked up part is how the WHO and top health officials in the US and UK didn't want to call out China bc fear of "insulting them" So basically this makes us complicit in the worlds largest state sponsored terrorist attack in history

China is the World Leader.
