Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

I was talking about this with my doctor yesterday. We both agreed that it’s only a matter of time before we see an NFL or NBA or MLB athlete drop dead on the field with a heart attack. It’s happening too frequently overseas amongst mostly soccer players for it to not happen here soon.
He was talking to a pro vax cardiologist The other day and he asked the cardiologist if he’s going to get his kids vaccinated since his wife and he got the job immediately and he is generally a strong advocate for the VAX. The cardiologist responded hell no. He would never get his kids the jab. He said prior to these vaccines being offered to young kids he would see maybe one case of myocarditis every six months to a year. Now he says he sees as many as 5 a week.
Will they actually produce this? It says that the vaccine proposal is for a one-time vax. Not a lot of money in one-time Jabs v every 6 months boosters.
Never believed the stupidity of "it would have been worse if they weren't Jabbed." No way to know that. Seems anecdotally that the smart people (unvaxxed) get past the disease without hospitalization if they get it.
I have a great nephew who got sick (not Wuhan), got the jab, got myocarditis and then got Wuhan after Christmas.
Graham is such a fake. He will not only vote for McConnell as the head of the pubs in the senate and maybe senate leader, but he will also publicly show support for him for leader leading up to that vote. No matter what McConnell does with his relationship with Trump. I like Grahams America first thinking but he doesn't give one shit about that. He is a "leader" in the senate that needs to be replaced as well. IMO of course.
