Amen ladies.

@AuburnGal98

And those pics were... something. 🤣

I do actually cook dinner most nights and I do make my husband a sandwich for lunch when I'm making one for myself. And I have his drink ready every day when he walks in the door/comes upstairs.

But Sunday dinner... that's all him, just as he wants. And we thank God for that. He's a phenomenal chef. That's the one day that everybody is home at the same time for family dinner (minus our oldest who lives in Scottsdale. He crammed 3 months of Sunday dinners into 2 weeks when she was home for Christmas.)
Somehow believe all this is true and am jelly of this Homelife. I'm good, too. What I always strived for but picked the wrong ladies. And maybe I fucked one away, too. Not over yet.

That’s one of the few benefits of the KungFlu. The Olympics are an overhyped and boring television show. Few people care about Olympic sports.
I always watch the Olympics... especially the summer sports.

My daughter competed with and against Olympic divers and the elite D1 divers. While she isn't competitively diving anymore (her knees and back said no more) she just helped coach 5 divers from her club team to D1 programs...all with scholarships.

It was pretty cool watching her text back and forth real time with her friends and competitors in Rio and realizing that I watched and judged them when they were littles just starting to take the world by storm. That's when it really hit me how good my girl was and how ridiculously good these divers are.

My favorite pic of her diving. (Other than when she was tiny and cute as a bug)

10m 5351 (reverse 2.5/half twist.) There's a reason they wear wrist braces.

I haven't had to work outside the home for 24 years. He worked his butt off to make that happen for our family and we sacrificed early on for now and the future. We have 4 kids (2 more years until they all will have flown the coop). Just what we decided early on we wanted for us and worked together to make it happen. My job is to support him in his career (hence, I'm in Ohio) and make our home as stress free as possible as he does the same for me. And we do it out of love for each other (even those days we want to kill each other) and our kids.

Yes, it's a very seemingly traditional, old school marriage and family. It works for us.

Timeline I’ve put together:

-10/25/19 Biden tweets USA isn’t ready for a pandemic

-12/19/19 House Impeaches Trump

-1/15/20 Trump signs trade deal with China. Same exact day, 1st US Covid case leaves Wuhan for Washington and is diagnosed 4 days later

2/5/20: senate votes against impeachment economy is doing great and Trumps approval numbers go up following impeachment

3/20: experts predict 2.2 million deaths by end of year (just reached 400k yesterday). Lockdowns begin to occur, especially in Democrat run states

Next few months economy suffers bc everything is shut down and no large gatherings are acceptable unless it’s for BLM riots or funerals for criminals or famous democrats. Democratic officials encourage riots and are caught not following the guidelines they’ve placed on their constituents on a weekly basis.

10/20: Trump says we’re weeks away from a vaccine at last debate and msm and medical experts basically call him a liar

11/20: Biden is named the winner of the election and 2 days later a Vaccine is released. A vaccine that was created 4-5x faster than any other vaccine in modern medicine, during the Trump administration

1/11/21: Cuomo says NY needs to start reopening despite high cases and a new strain of virus

1/13/21: Michigan Gov. Whitmer says she wants to reopen restaurants Feb 1st

1/15/21: Chicago mayor Lightfoot says it’s time to start reopening

1/20/21: Biden is inaugurated. WHO changes guidelines of a positive test to require x2 positive tests AND have symptoms. Asymptomatic cases no longer count.

1/21/21: Amazon reaches out to Biden to help deliver vaccine

I wish I could like this a thousand times.

Agreed. Fuck him. He’s not my President.

That being said, is there anyway we could come together and do something for these soldiers? How could we send food or anything?
Mail is so fucked you couldn't get anything there in time.

We would need to call somebody local and make it happen old school.

Obviously I'm in for whatever. If we can find some way to send them pizzas even I'd be willing to try?!

Short version to not clog up the thread. My Mom and Dad (Class of '56) were HS sweethearts. Mom was the Valedictorian, Dad was #4. He went on to be a Mechanical Engineer and mom stayed home. I have two sisters. Dad (RIP) was a no-shit rocket scientist. He and 8 other dudes designed the Minuteman III. The post-boost guidance and control which made it "III".

Also was lead engineer on the project where we landed a satellite on an asteroid in 1999. So no dummy.

Mom was even "smarter" but stayed home. Conscious decision they made together.

So I get that sacrifice and completely agree with it. Great childhood.

You are undoubtably a beautiful and more importantly, a Great American, wife, and mom.

Rock on.
