• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

I’ve felt weird for the past 48 hours, but not so bad I couldn’t do normal stuff. Woke up this morning at 3 am feelin like I got my head bashed in with a bowling ball. Fever, chills, dizziness, etc etc. I’m laid up now hoping I can kick this thing’s ass.
THIS!! Felt a little tired for 24 hrs. Then BAM, got home from Christmas Eve w/ family and went downhill fast! Headache, snotty, fever, chills, ribs HURT from coughing, and lost my taste and smell yesterday. Fever gone as of this morning. I am not getting tested, just taking my supp and apple paste. BUT….i was sick Nov ‘20, lost taste and smell, and had a positive antibody test 3 mos later. Have NOT, will NOT get the hokey pokey!

Drought will continue. CA refuses to update its water catch system. God forbid you hurt a frog but save millions with clean and readily available water.

4degrees and snowing in Steamboat! Glorious.

few months back Pelosi was asked about that and she said congress was exempt to to separation of powers. She is full of shit. I saw it on the news cant remember exactly when.
They do not want to take an experimental drug that nobody knows the long term effects from. At this point even the short term effects are not very promising.

I would start there for an answer Nancy should have given.

We’ve had a rough several days in our house. My oldest woke up on Thursday with a fever, aches, and a nasty cough. My younger son got it on Friday. I got it on Saturday. All basically the same symptoms although my younger son has more of a sore throat to go with it. Everyone is still very congested with nasty deep coughs.

We all tested positive for flu. Not Covid. We had Covid a year ago. The basketball team has had the flu run through it. Seven kids sick.

The funny thing is that all three of us had flu shots this year. My wife did not. And she has not gotten sick yet despite being surrounded by us hacking up a lung for 5 days.

Sorry for the personal questions but it is important. What vitamins were you taking and doses plus was it Omicron?
Not sure of the strain, assume Omicron. Got it over Christmas visiting South Carolina. I’be been taking Zinc, D3, C and took first Ivermectin dose this morning. Thankfully I ordered a box of ivermectin from India in the spring.

im kinda the same way, my daughter had headaches, fatigue, fever and body soreness yesterday

says she still feeling blah today

i woke up with body aches, fatigue and my head felt like its in a fog

we both took our reg vit c, zinc, vit d, echinecea for immune boost

we also took advil for the body aches

im feeling alot better now since this am

assuming its omicron, not gonna take any ivermectin (although i have the paste), just gonna let it run its course

we're both unvaxxed and never had the initial covid

I asked the doctor that diagnosed me about that and he confirmed there is no way to know which strain you have. I know this, I feel like ass, and I’ve never had this kind of illness before.

I’m convinced they release the flu every year to feed big pharma.

but we have only had one very minor frost in North Florida. Buddy told me he walked by a pecan tree the other day looking ready to bud.

We are sucking here in northern NM. If not for the snow maker they wouldn’t have been able to partially open the resort yet. Woke up Christmas Eve at around 0400 and it was raining. Which is almost unheard of here.

Since then we have had around 6”

Same for my son starting last Saturday. Massive ear infection tested negative for Covid and flu. We are pretty sure he had the flu as he ran a temp for 4 days.

So which Vitamins or supplements were you on and how much. And I appreciate you taking the time, although you are probably feeling shitty to try and help us out. I appreciate you

I would do saline in the nasals and throat. (iodine spray too if you have some or can make it) stay vertical and avoid hospitals at all cost

All good man. I’m taking 750mg C twice a day. Taking 375 mcg of D3 twice a day. Taking 50 mg Zinc twice a day. Also took 12mg Ivermectin this morning after diagnosis. Appointment at 8am tomorrow for monoclonal antibodies.

I heard Omnicron is a bad cold. It is cold and flu season after all. Stay positive, rest, and get treatment. I bet you guys kick this in short order. I'm not vaxxed and got Covid in october, supposedly, felt like a flu to me. Anyway, took me and the shield maiden 3 days to kick it with the kitchen sick approach. I take all the vitamins and supplements discussed ad nauseum in here and have been for years. Still got sick but not as bad as I have read from others. I was susceptible because I believe my immunity was lowered with the fucking stress of fighting mask mandates and the vaccine mandate that threatened my job. Hard lesson learned in that fear and anxiety play a big part in how susceptible you are to illness. Put on the full armor and don't let outisde forces manipulate your mind. Best I got. SKOL!

Let me add the shield maiden had just had major surgery on her left hand. She was already in a weakened state when she got the crud. My youngest has some health issues that may have caused her to get it or it was all just our time. We have immunity now and will never need to worry about whatever virus we had again..
