Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Wife and I just went through this covid bullshit cold/flu. She had it first for a couple days with minor cold and flu symptoms and then a loss of taste/smell for almost a week but felt just fine. Then of course just as she is getting over it I start to get it, all the same symptoms but hits me a little harder and takes a little longer to kick it because I refuse to quit working and doing whatever the fk I want. I already had a full dose of ivermectin on hand for both of us just in case we needed it. We didn’t.
I called our normal clinic to get a zpack prescription for the bitch and then myself a week later. Not a single time did I have to tell anyone at the clinic or pharmacy that either of us were vaccinated. Everyone we talked to assumed we were vaccinated or didn’t bring it up. One of the doctors even suggested that we both go get ANOTHER BOOSTER in a month just to help boost our immune systems so we don’t get covid again this winter. Morons
It’s gonna blow harder than 2008. Get ready boys.
