Buckle up, y'all. If you've never heard of this phenomenon, it's very real.
God is speaking to Muslims in dreams and telling them to follow Jesus.
A good friend of mine was one of the last Iranian immigrants let in to the US during the Trump administration. He had a dream in which "the wisest man in the world" appeared to him and pointed at a mosque, saying, "You will not find the truth in there." That set my friend on a journey for truth, and he is now a believer. I was at his baptism, which occurred under strict orders to avoid all photography and publication of his name, as his conversion would mean persecution for his family in Iran.
Another friend at church is a missionary in a Muslim country. He reports back that it is quite common for Muslims to come to faith by dreaming of Jesus or the angel Gabriel.
There are multiple books written on the subject. I'm currently reading one entitled "The Insanity of Obedience." I'll paste a couple of passages from that book at the bottom of this message.
While God is working through dreams and visions among Muslims, He is working through healing among Hindus. The book goes into detail describing this. A friend of mine here in town is Indian. She spent 10 years rescuing sex trafficking victims in India, and recently shared her experience on a mission trip in Lebanon this summer. She was visiting with an older Lebanese woman who was bent over and crippled, and my friend said, "I just prayed, Jesus, please just heal her. The Jesus I know heals people all the time," and He did. The woman was healed on the spot.
A friend's son is in the mission field in one of the most dangerous African Muslim countries, and he works directly with tribal refugees. God is working supernaturally among those people by reversing the curses of witch doctors. This young man was back in town this summer, and he shared how his medical clinic will see refugee patients who exhibit symptoms that the western MDs on staff can't quite diagnose. The doctors will actually make referrals to local pastors who work with the missionaries, and the pastors will pray for healing, which God grants. They are then asked if they would like "to know and believe in the Jesus who has healed them."
One of these pastors is a former Muslim who came to Jesus due to a dream.
God is working supernaturally in the world today, and is performing miracles in many of the most challenging places in the world.
You may notice that I am sharing practically no details about any of these four people, because to do so would put them all at great risk of persecution. I am very blessed to know them and hear the reports of God's work taking place all over the world.
Here are a couple of passages from that book I mentioned. I felt that these three anecdotes were particularly moving. The last story is just wild, and I wonder how I would respond if I got that call from God in the middle of the night.
"I walked down the steps of the small airplane which had landed in a desert area separating two Central Asian countries. I expected to be met by a European doctor. Much to my surprise, though, I was immediately “accosted” by five men dressed in conservative Muslim clothing. Pulling away from their physical grasp, I tried to make my way into the tiny airport to book a flight out of this dangerous environment. I felt certain I had just walked into a trap, and I was sure my life was in jeopardy.
Just before I entered the small terminal building, one of the men whispered to me, “We are followers of Jesus.” The men led me to a small hotel room. After serving tea and exchanging pleasantries, they said to me, “We know how to be Muslims in a Muslim country. We even know how to be communists in a Muslim country. What we do not know is how to be followers of Jesus in a Muslim country. We were praying at one a.m. this morning and the Holy Spirit told us to go to the airport, meet the first plane that landed, and greet the first white man who exited that plane.
God sent us to meet you. He has sent you to teach us what you have learned from other believers in persecution—how to follow Jesus in a place like ours that seems to be controlled by evil.”

Another man told this story:
"I was from an Islamic background. I began to dream about a holy book. This book was not green like my Qur’an; it was blue. Many nights I would dream of this holy book. I heard a voice telling me to find this book and to read about the Messiah. I began to look for the book, but I did not know where to find it.
One day I went to the big market in my city in Central Asia. Suddenly from the crowd a man walked up to me. I had never met him before. He handed me a blue book and he said, “God told me to come to the market today and to give this book to you.”
He then disappeared into the crowd and I never saw him again. I took this book, the Bible, to my house and I read it five times in the next month. I had never met anyone like the Messiah Jesus and my heart was changed from Islam to follow Him."

"The house church elder explained that the Holy Spirit woke him up in the middle of the night and told him to gather together the fruits, vegetables, and meat that the house church had stored up to care for people in need. The Holy Spirit told the man to take this load of food, by horse and sled, to a pastor’s family who had been left to die in a one-room hut in the frozen tundra.
The man reminded the Holy Spirit that it was thirty degrees below zero outside and that there was no way that he would survive the trip. The man reminded the Holy Spirit that the wolves would probably eat his horse and then eat him.
Then the words of the Holy Spirit rang in his ears: “You do not have to come back; you simply have to go.”
