• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Happy Thanksgiving Y'all!

“Thanksgiving in the Bible means to respond to God’s goodness and grace with gratitude. The word for giving thanks in the Old Testament means to raise hands to God in gratitude.”

There are very few things in life you get to choose of those friendship is the most important.

Blessed to be in this thread and come to know each and everyone of you.

By the Grace of God we will all meet in person one day.

May God bless you, your family, your friends, President Trump, Texas, and these United States of America.

TX Court of Appeal Denies Ivermectin for Dying Deputy.

A ruling by the Second Court of Appeals on Thursday nullified a trial court’s order which would have granted an outside doctor temporary privileges at a North Texas hospital to administer Ivermectin to Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Jason Jones. Since Sept. 28, Jones, 48, has been hospitalized at Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South with complications from COVID-19, and he was put on a ventilator in early October. After his health declined, his wife, Erin, asked for Ivermectin to be prescribed and administered to Jones, but the hospital denied the request, according to court documents.

The Second Court of Appeals said in the ruling that the law does not allow any court to substitute non-medical judgment for the professional medical judgments of health care providers — whether judges agree, disagree or have serious doubts about them. “Although we may empathize with a wife’s desire to try anything and everything to save her husband, we are bound by the law, and the law in this case does not allow judicial intervention,” the court’s opinion, written by Chief Justice Bonnie Sudderth, states. One of lawyers representing Erin Jones, Jerri Lynn Ward, said in a statement to the Dallas Morning News that attorneys are evaluating whether to appeal the ruling to the Texas Supreme Court.

But they’re “here to protect everyone...” The system needs to be burned to the ground.

If those changes don't involve Kemp, Raffensberger and others in prison then they are not in contention for GOAT
Agreed
The state is still run by Republicans and will turn red again very soon. We do need the corrupt Republicans to get the hell out

I love Georgia but we’re nowhere near Florida or Texas
My point is the state is not lost for 50 years like California or some shit hole like that

What's you take on Vernon Jones? Idk much about him except from the Stop The Steal rally he had with Don Jr and the GOP convention speech. He seems like he'd be a great Governor

I like him. He has an interesting past that could haunt him. I’m worried that the current governor has too much money behind him at this point. I give Vernon about a 40% chance to win at this point but a lot can change. And I’m pulling for him
