Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

If that is the DOJ's stance and they get away with it, this country is pretty much done at that point. This is a blatant case of targeting and to date, they are getting away with it on a level that every American should be concerned with. Sadly we have too many people with their heads up their own asses to realize that this will eventually trickle on down to them.

PARKING TICKET: My wife and I went into town and visited a shop. When we came out, there was a cop writing out a parking ticket. We went up to him and I said, "Come on man, how about giving a senior citizen a break?" He just ignored us and continued writing the ticket.
I called him an "a**hole." He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having worn-out tires.
So my wife called him a "s*ithead." He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first. Then he started writing more tickets.
This went on for about 20 minutes. The more we abused him, the more tickets he wrote. He finally finished, sneered at us and walked away. Just then our bus arrived, and we got on it and went home.
We always look for cars with Biden stickers. We try to have a little fun each day now that we're retired. It's so important at our age!!

I just sent my local representative this email. I'm not a great writer so I don't need ripped for wording etc lol. But everyone should pressure their local State reps to push for creating a bill like this Kyle's Law

I am writing you today because I would like to see that the State of Florida take notice of the attack by powerful entities on the People's right to self-defense with regards to the sham prosecution of Kyle Rittenhouse. By the Grace of God, the jury deliberated correctly and found him not guilty. The prosecution had no case to begin with, and it was a direct attack against We the People. The goal was to render an outcome that would make lawful citizens think twice about protecting themselves and their property from destructive riots and mobs burning, looting and killing in their wake.
There is a grassroots movement now after the result of the case calling for the creation of a Law deemed "Kyle's Law" which I think you should absolutely look into and submit for the further protection of your constituents. Basically, the law would help put an end to shameful, politically-motivated prosecutions where the DA has been selected by very powerful people that do not have good in mind when it comes to freedom. Kyle's Law: If the jury agrees the prosecution failed to meet the threshold of evidence, the defendant is immediately entitled to compensation for any losses resulting from this unfounded prosecution. This compensation would be made both by the state generally and by the prosecutor personally. This law would absolutely force these corrupt players in positions of power attacking our freedom and rights for self-defense and the 2nd Amendment to think long and hard about their decision to bring forth a nonsensical case that is an obvious case of self-defense.
I thank you for your time in this matter and hope you give it proper consideration as we are at a crossroads in this country. Florida has proven to be a beacon of freedom, and this would only help brighten that beacon.

If the police were wearing body cams we would have known for sure. But they weren’t which is, IMO, totally unacceptable in a situation like that. Plus there were witness reports from third parties saying that the cops didn’t identify themselves. As far as I’m concerned, those cops are morons and should be totally liable for the death of that lady. They created the situation, didn’t know who was in the apartment and somebody died. Totally unacceptable, they had the opportunity and should have planned better. Which is way the family got millions real fast.
That case, for me, is totally different from all the other BLM garbage where police are responding to calls involving felons where things go sideways.

"She doxxed us. … She said, ‘Internet do your thing.’ I got 17 voicemails at my work from one person," Kerri Rehmeyer, a Fort Worth mother who sued the school district to block a mask mandate, told Fox News. She was referencing Norma Garcia-Lopez, the co-chair of the Racial Equity Committee at Fort Worth Independent School District.
Rehmeyer told Fox News that Garcia-Lopez had singled her out because she and other parents oppose critical race theory (CRT) – a framework that involves deconstructing aspects of society to discover systemic racism beneath the surface – and because they sued the school district, challenging the COVID-19 mask mandate. In August, a court granted a temporary injunction against the mandate, but the school district has twice appealed the case to higher courts.
Garcia-Lopez went on to share the phone number and address of Treger, along with Rehmeyer's employer, her phone number, and her work email address (this sensitive personal information has been blurred from the photo below).
