• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Fun fact The term “Mad Hatter“ was from early hat makers. They used Mercury to shape hats. They didn’t wear gloves. Suffered from Mercury poisoning and went crazy. “MadHatter”.
There is a podcast called H-town where there is a dude (John B) who is convinced there is some big conspiracy/murder in the small town in Alabama he resides in. An NPR podcaster investigates and the series ends up not being about the “murder” but John B, an eccentric gay dude who happens to do gold plating the old fashioned way involving a lot of mercury. Even though it was NPR I thought it was fascinating.

Fun fact... The term blue blood was originally defined because rich Euro nobles ate and drank everything with silver cups, plates, forks, knives... They litter ali had a blue tint to their skin and blood.
That is a theory but the general consensus is that it came from the Spanish (sangre azul). The Spanish hated the Moors so much, the nobility wanted to be as white as possible so they would not have any appearance of the darker complected Moors (The Moops). The paler you are, the easier it is to see blueish surface veins and you would therefore be a ”blue blood.” The paler you are the less “Moorish” you are and the less time you spend outside doing the work of the poors. So nobility have been called blue bloods since then until Tom Selleck made a horrible TV crime drama and messed it all up.

The physiology of this is based on the fact that fully Oxygenated blood (oxygen bound to four Heme molecules which makes up hemoglobin which is a large component of a red blood cell) absorbs/reflects light at different wavelength than deoxygenated hemoglobin. Deoxygenated blood appears slightly blue through the skin (why your veins are bluish) because of the wavelengths absorbed vs reflected. But, as you know, it is an optical illusion because when you cut someone’s jugular vein, the blood is still red, just darker than cherry red oxygenated blood.

The wavelengths absorbed/reflected are utilized for pulse oximetry. A red wavelength (660 nm) LED and infrared wavelength (940 nm) LED are transmitted through a finger (or other tissue) and the amount of each measured on the opposite side through two separate sensors. Oxygenated blood absorbs more infrared light and allows more red to pass through. Deoxygenated absorbs more red light and allows more infrared to pass through. Signal noise is removed (absorption by tissue/bone, venous/capillary blood because it is not pulsatile) leaving only pulsatile arterial blood being measured. The ratio of oxygenated to deoxygenated arterial is then calculated by a processor and after using the Beer-Lambert law a SpO2 (peripheral oxygen saturation) is determined.

So, in other words, FJB.

Teddy was federal American government first, no different than Trump or the GOP

That isn't populist babe

America 1st has determined the preamble to be evidence for Progressivism.....interesting

I thought we we're saying TR wasn't a Progressive but now we are saying he is a Progressive as was America's founding

Wow!

The preamble to the Constitution which aimed to put a stranglehold on federal power or enable it run every part of our lives as it does now?

Progressivism is Collectivism which is centralization and it has been the default philopsohy of the federal government for the better part of a century and explains our current predicament

We want nuance? Let me give you some high grade nuance

Althought Presidents have been effectively controlled by hostile interest many we're basically tricked into some big moves they later regretted. TR may have wanted a strong and healthy nation, but he may have been tricked and manipulated into policies and rhetoric that favored the very people he was trying to combat

Even Woodrow Wilson saw the light and regretted the Fed, saying, "I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the civilized world. No longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men."

Woodrow Wilson said that ^^^
The amount of factually incorrect statements in this diatribe is why I typically just ignore you but I’m feelings saucy tonight and yore embarrassing our Founding Fathers so let’s set at least a few parts of this straight for the sake of America.

1- Populist, or populism, is politics that appeals to the common man. It has nothing to do with the branch or size of government one advocates for. If the common man wants big government/ high government intervention that can be just a populist as small government movements in other countries / areas. The nation typically defines the type of populism which is often why the populist movement in a country is a brand of national populism (as is the case with America 1st & Trump).

2- No I’m not calling Teddy a prog but it’s funny anybody would care to debate that point / label when The Founding Fathers were “progressive” by the standards of their time.

3- The Constitution was adopted and ratified because The Founding Fathers recognized The Articles of Confederation lacked sufficient powers for the federal government. The preamble to The Constitution litter Ali doesn’t say anything about limiting the federal government. The preamble does make several references to the collective of the American people and respecting their will for their posterity, common defense, and general welfare.

If yore going to suggest you know better than The Founding Fathers then at least do them the courtesy correctly referencing their history and the history of the leaders who followed them.
Let's help you out then as you are operating with such nobility

It's not true and is obvious propoganda that serves to anger and misinform while trying to take us away from the bigger lie, which is the actual danger posed by this virus and the number of peope it has killed regardless of what mail in ballots/dominions/uniparty determines is a R or D county

We really would all stand to benefit refraining from chewing on bull shit and dealing with the real nutrition of truth
Ironic post is ironic.

4.05 where I live in LA, but still stupid. Fuck I hate this world right now.

The courts, including the SCOTUS, have already ruled the jab mandates are constitutional both historically and during this pandemic.

The argument that will be made against Puddin’s mandate for businesses via OSHA will be that Congress didn’t give that agency, or the Secretary of any cabinet position, the authority to issue such an order.

This is why the state mandates continue to stand up in lower courts, and with the SCOTUS, as well as the mandates from private employers while the OSHA one will likely be blocked no matter how high Puddin hikes it up the chain.

Not sure what they have ruled on during this pandemic, but their big historical case from something like 1908, simply ruled that a small fine could be imposed for refusal to be vaccinated, right? That is what I have heard from Tim Pool and others, anyway. A small fine is VASTLY different from not being alowed to go places in public, and getting fired from your job.

Interesting that Bell's Palsy mimics another far more serious medical condition that according to vaers data is a possible side effect of the Moderna shot - a stroke.
As someone who has been there done that, I can tell you that’s what I thought the morning I woke up with it. First I thought I slept on my face funny and it was “asleep” then I looked at myself in the mirror and started freaking out thinking I had stroked out.

I'm sorry the card says Moops.

Had an argument like this with my wife recently.

Her: (lies about something)
Me: You lied to me about this
Her: I didn’t lie
Me: You said this, which clearly isn’t true
Her: I admit what I said was not true
Me: So you lied
Her: I didn’t lie!
Me: You just admitted what you said was not true. The definition of lying is saying something that isn’t true
Her: I already admitted what I said wasn’t true
Me: So you lied…
Her: I didn’t lie!!!!

Wanted to strangle her, it’s amazing how people will rationalize anything in their mind to refuse admitting to something. It’s maddening.
At least she spoke her truth…

Lmao this is a real beauty, befitting of the Louvre

Let's help our good friend America 1st out

If the American people want more centralization of power than teddy and Trump are populist

Progressivism is collectivist and favors central authority over individual sovereignty

I literalleee said the the preamble preambles the Constitution which proceeds to restrain federal power, in favor of individual sovereignty and state power

In hindsight, the federalists won out and created too strong of a central authority although the blame can be squarely laid upon a differential and gullible populace or the unavoidable, natural tendencies of successful republics

There is a fine line between progressivism and nationalism. There is recognition and want of national strength outside of progressivism

You, as a progressive, believe that robust central authority is best to optimize the general welfare

The true American, and anyone barely aware of human history knows that individual sovereignty and the family unit are superior as foundation for enviable societies/civilizations

You need to reevaluate yore approach; it's stale, rudimentary and self debasing*

This lady was the head of a cult and took a bunch of colloidal silver every day and turned blue gray. There is a true crime show I think dateline about her and the cult. She was found dead/mummified and blue missing her eyes with glitter all over her. View attachment 58232View attachment 58233

There are some that have turned more blue than that from taking too much of it.
