Part of human nature is to defend the deed when they know or have deduced that what they did may have been a big ooops.
He is experiencing pressure and possibly threats. If he goes Indy it all depends on who he declares to caucus with. Sanders declared as a democrat caucus member. Thus giving them 50 votes. If Manchin were to declare a GOP caucus member then it's 51 - 49 GOP and that would make McConnell Majority Leader assuming none of the RINO GOP Sen's switch sides. That's what has the dems scared shitless. GOP Senate means few if any judges confirmed, lots of requests for documents, hearings, and little to no Legislation currently written. Maybe this is why NanNan supposedly is stepping down. Imagine a GOP Senate Judiciary Committee subpoenaing Pelosi to talk about 1/6 and all else. Manchin should probably miss WV hunting season this year.

Get well soon. I had covid at Christmas. Ran a fever for half day and then had body aches for about a day or so. Didn’t feel bad after that so i didn’t think at the time it was covid. About 5 days later I lost my taste/smell and obviously knew at that point.

He's now 10th in the conference for receiving (amazing what happens when they finally play him on offense), 3rd for interceptions, 10th for tackles (He's a frigging safety. 42 solo, 14 assist). 2nd overall defense.
