• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

I don’t think anyone is blaming the crime on the crypto.

I think we would all agree we don’t want folks selling our nuke sub secrets.

The rise in demand for cryptos, as a part of crime, would be a separate topic entirely (and for the master crypto thread).

I have just as much scepticism as you do. I also look to data from other countries, like UK, Iceland, and Israel. Their data all tell the same story.

Like I said, the data that the vaccines have some effectiveness is overwhelming. It's OK to say that and also have concerns about reactions, side effects, and long term risks about the vaccines. It's OK to say that most people would be better off from a risk perspective to get the vaccine while having very strong feelings that nobody should be forced to get a vaccine.

My own sister fainted 20 minutes after the shot and was rushed to the hospital. Her doctor ordered her to never get a booster. I myself have not been vaccinated. Trust me, I have at least as much (likely more) skepticism about the vaccines as you, but you simply have your head in the sand if you refuse to believe that there is any evidence of some level of effectiveness of the vaccines.

Not really. Trump would thump him.

Essentially the only thing that might happen as a result would be Pompeo knocking himself out of Sec of State if he was a douche to Trump. If he plays above board he could improve his standing for VP pick (still likely to be a woman even then).

I think it’s all just an act to eat up fundraising money that would end up in other candidates hands. If he eats up RINO money it’s a big loss for other candidates (Pence).

They have to do this to buy the votes of the poor, lazy, and black. You need to convince those groups that they are the victim and by taking from others it is making it even
