Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

I had racing heart for a bit after my second shot. Now it’s just a strange flutter once a day or so. I also have tinnitus that I’ve been rocking since May. Pfizer vax is trash. I got the delta a month ago. It was a cold with loss of taste and smell for me for a couple of days.

Trump has been slow on giving an endorsement to anyone for Governor of Georgia. Whether that is a political strategy of his, or if he's waiting to see if any fuckery exposes itself....who knows.
I don't know what to think of Stew Peters, either. At minimum, he's a blowhard. I think he does a decent job of speaking about things that are taboo elsewhere, but at the same time he just chooses to get red in the face about everything........I tend to listen to cooler heads.
I listen to Trump. He's not freaking out about shit, but he's also not given an endorsement for that race. Take that for what its worth. I would think he knows about whatever past Vernon may have and perhaps has him under his thumb, but waiting to see if he pulls any shit. A black man running for Republican governor in Georgia could be very beneficial in that state towards winning.

Going through this in our community. HS principal was just removed two days ago. Liberal superintendent was forced out earlier this year. Uber liberal school board has been bombarded by parents that are sick of the liberal BS: BLM week of action (last Feb.), attempts at adding CRT to curriculum, mask mandates, remote learning, etc. Huge school board election on Nov. 2. Three open positions and there are 7 candidates. Three conservative candidates are running as a package. Going to be tough to win as the crazies in this community are the loudest and most involved.
