Can someone explain to me why we don’t have have a true vaccine by now? I.e. Why isn’t there a dead-virus-in-a-serum vaccine yet? To push an experimental gene modification therapy? Or because there is something about this gain of function virus that can’t be isolated, killed, and put in a true vaccine? Or both?

Just like there has never been a true discussion on the medicines and treatments in the MSM and Government. Only those who have bought and paid the politicians and bureaucrats are allowed to call the shots on this shitshow.

From the beginning, masks, isolation and wait the their vaccinations were the only calls.

This is what we should be doing, if anything. As most of you on this board know, in general, Covid is not a major risk to people under 60 unless you've got other medical problems, but particularly to healthy people 50 and under.

These MRNA shots are only providing antibodies for the spike protein portion of the virus, but not the rest of the actual virus. This MAY be a reason why the virus is mutating into different strains.

If you isolated some of the weaker strains of covid, and passed it on to otherwise healthy people, in whatever form, then you'd get the antibodies for the entire virus, not just the spike protein. In addition, you don't have the risk of all of the other side affects that the shots have shown to have.

Novovax has developed one. For some strange reason it is having a
difficult time getting it approved.

There isn't an explanation. Just like there isn't a reason that other treatments aren't emphasized or discussed.

Maybe a vaccine can't be made to a lab created high tech virus.

I was going to reply with Novovax but someone else already beat me to it. I also remember seeing another story that there are something like 60-100 (approx.) different vaccines being developed around the world. The main difference I believe, is that we gave the specific contracts and emergency use approval to Pfizer, Moderna, and J&J, and bought millions of doses before they were even done testing, just so they would have them available assuming they were approved.

Pot committed.

So if we allowed some of the other traditional style vaccines to pass through, we (US govt) would essentially have thrown away a bunch of money putting it into these MRNA jabs. Personally, I don't care about the money they've put in at this point. Just get the best options out front. And frankly, right now, it looks like the best option might be the monoclonal antibodies. They need to get behind those and fast track millions of doses.

No guarantee that a traditional vaccine using a killed virus would be approved here since so many have made a fortune on mRNA, hold patents on it or are invested in their stocks. Too much to lose now. Plus any killed virus vaccine would likely be put through extensive multiple year trials and research. They would also negate 6 month boosters. That's what they are going.

No. They want mRNA type vaccines for everything now. I won't be surprised when this is over, if it ever is, that they will then force people to revaccinate against polio, smallpox, MMC and every other vax previously vaxxed against.

When they mandate vaccines for domestic travel, novavax is what I am hoping to get.

I have no doubt that to board a plane in 2022 you’ll have to show some vaccine ID bs.
